Crusader Care Coordinator
Mrs. Scheele has a background in finance and has worked for State Farm Bank dealing with deposit accounts, HSA, and IRA’s. After crunching numbers for several years, God lead her husband, Sean, into the ministry. This started the family on a whole new adventure that led to the the opportunity to be a stay at home mom full time - a time Mrs. Scheele will always treasure!
After moving to Iowa so her husband could pastor Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Waterloo in the middle of a pandemic and finding very few opportunities to meet people, it just so happened that Valley was in need of a Before/After Care Coordinator! The position allowed Mrs. Scheele a chance to meet people as well as have a super flexible schedule so she could still be with their kids at home!
Mrs. Scheele enjoys reading and writing, word searches, and podcasts. She states that it has been a blessing to be part of the Valley family and "I’m so incredibly thankful that God opened the door for me to be here. I’ve met so many amazing friends; I love who I work with, and I truly enjoy my students."
Together the couple of have six children; Taylor is 18 and is starting her first year at Bethany Lutheran College, Kaitlyn who is a freshman at Valley, Luke (7) who is homeschooled, Lydia (4), Karis (3), and Matthew set to turn a year old very soon!
