3rd Grade Teacher & MS Track Coach
Martha graduated from Concordia University, Nebraska in 2012 with a BS in Elementary Education with a concentration of Special Education. She received her first call to teach 3/4th grade at Valley in 2012, and has taught 3rd grade ever since. Her favorite lesson to teach is "our Market Day, which is the final wrap up to our study of economy in communities. Students are able to use what they have learned throughout the unit to design, create, market and sell their very own products at our annual 3rd Grade Market. On the day of our market, we invite the whole school in to shop and purchase the products."
Martha and her husband, Colby, have a little girl, Nora, who was born in December of 2020. Their family attends Immanuel Lutheran and she says the best part of following Jesus is, "having a solid and unshakeable foundation to fall back on no matter how crazy and uncertain this world may be. I know that in all things Christ loves me and is always with me, walking beside me through the every situation, good or challenging."
Marth enjoys outside with her family whenever she can, running, walking, biking and enjoying God’s creation. She also love to spend time snuggling her dog, Phin, on the couch, reading a book or watching some of her favorite shows.
