Mr. Kuhlmann is in his second year at Valley having started in the Fall of 2022. He is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a Physical Education Major and a Minor in Health Education and Coaching. His favorite lessons to teach are basketball or soccer. His favorite parts of teaching are being able to see a student do something for the first time and seeing the smile that a student has on their face when they are finally successful.

His favorite things about Valley are the faith based atmosphere and the friendly smiles from the students and staff. "It encourages me to work hard and want to be in an environment that is so wholesome and inviting.

Mr. Kuhlmann's home church is the Trinity Bible Church in Cedar Falls. He attends both Trinity Bible Church and New Life in Reinbeck, Iowa currently. "Jesus is my rock and my foundation. He is what keeps me motivated and keeps me disciplined as a disciple of Jesus. I desire to share the gospel with as many people as I can. Making disciples who make disciples by having a culture of JOY, Jesus, Others, then Yourself in the classroom - that is my goal here at Valley."

Mr. Kuhlmann's favorite things to do outside of school are to watch sports (college basketball and football in particular) and to spend time with friends.
